I decided to start Tails Wagging when I realized that one of my Dalmatians was not comfortable with being kenneled.  She’s more of an introvert and takes a while to trust strangers, cowering and trembling if I’m not around to say, “it’s okay”.  We easily resolved that problem by having friends she was familiar with, come pet sit her while we were gone.  But friends are not always available (they actually have lives of their own!) and I wondered if other pet owners had similar situations.  And they do!    

   

 

        

                                       

   

   

   

Some people have fish, hamsters, birds or elderly pets that prefer to stay home.  In actuality, most pets prefer to stay in the familiarity of their own home with the sounds and smells they’re used to.  Plus, that favorite spot on the couch just can’t be duplicated in the kennel!  With this in mind, and my abundant LOVE for all animals, I decided to give Tails Wagging a chance.
